About Us

Our Campus
Our Continent Our Story

The Ubuntu Press is a student-centered platform for the African Leadership Academy (ALA), where students and staff can share ideas, engage in debates on issues of interest, and showcase their creativity. Additionally, it serves as a digital archive of the rich intellectual life of ALA, so that it can be looked back on and celebrated for generations to come.

This paper is led by an Afrocentric approach. This approach emphasizes the stories of Africa, viewing global events from a local perspective while celebrating the culture, politics, and leadership of the African people. Whether you are a reporter, observer, or writer, we want you to join this project. Together, let’s reimagine the narrative of our continent.
